I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I am a year 6 and my teacher is Mrs Thorp. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
I really like your painting! It looks amazing, you’ve used so many colours! It’s bright and happy and tells an incredible story! I also really like how the two faces on the edges are all black with red eyes. It contrasts the brightness you’ve used everywhere else really well and makes them stand out!
The shapes in this painting are so interesting. I think it looks like a half a boat at the bottom and a chalice to the left. The middle kind of looks like the sun as well. What can you see in the picture?
Good job on starting the Summer Learning Journey, I look forward to seeing all your future blog posts! What activities are you most excited for?
Hello Nathaniel. I like that you have chosen your own colour choice.I think it looks better than the original.I guess back in the day, they didn't have a lot of colours to chose from. Do you know what year the original was painted in?. Have a great holiday and Merry Christmas. I look forward to seeing more of your holiday learning.
Hello Nathaniel. I was just checking your blog to see if there was any new SLJ activity that you might have completed. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.
What have you been doing during these holidays?.
My daughter and I are going to Willowbank on Friday to feed the lemurs. We also played Mini Golf a couple of weeks ago.
